Scrumptious bite-sized pizza rolls filled with gooey cheese and savory pepperoni, perfect for snacking or sharing at parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of pizza dough
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Begin your journey by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll Out the Dough: Sprinkle a light dusting of flour on your work surface and roll out the pizza dough until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Cut the Dough: Using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter, slice the rolled-out dough into squares measuring about 3×3 inches.
  4. Add the Filling: Place a spoonful of marinara sauce, a generous amount of mozzarella cheese, and a few slices of pepperoni on each square.
  5. Season Up: Sprinkle a little grated Parmesan cheese on top, then add a dash of garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  6. Seal the Dough: Fold the corners of the dough over the filling to create a sealed pocket.
  7. Brush with Egg Wash: Whisk your egg and brush the top of each pizza roll with the egg wash.
  8. Bake to Perfection: Place the sealed pizza rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve Warm: Let them cool slightly before serving with extra marinara sauce.
