Delicious and comforting honey garlic meatballs that blend sweet and savory flavors, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 egg
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, egg, and minced garlic in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for about 18-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Prepare the honey garlic sauce by simmering honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a saucepan.
  6. Coat the baked meatballs in the honey garlic sauce until well covered.
  7. Serve warm, drizzled with any remaining sauce.

Serve these meatballs with rice or as a party appetizer. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
