Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl to create the marinade.
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets by pouring the marinade over them in a shallow dish and coat well. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  5. Season each salmon fillet with salt and pepper after removing from the marinade.
  6. Sauté the salmon skin-side down in the skillet for 3-4 minutes until the skin is browned and crispy.
  7. Add the remaining marinade over the salmon.
  8. Bake the salmon in the oven for 10-15 minutes until cooked through and flaky.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Use low-sodium soy sauce for less salt. Marinating is crucial for flavor. This recipe also works well on the grill.
