A multi-layered dessert that embodies the essence of hot chocolate, combining creamy layers, rich chocolate pudding, and a graham cracker crust.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream (for topping)
  • Chocolate shavings or sprinkles (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust: In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form the crust.
  2. Create the Cream Cheese Layer: In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping and spread over the crust.
  3. Make the Chocolate Pudding Layer: Prepare the chocolate pudding mix according to package instructions, using 2 cups of milk. Once thickened, pour over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Add the Final Whipped Topping: Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  5. Chill and Set: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings or sprinkles if desired.

Notes

For a unique twist, add mint extract or coffee to the cream cheese layer. Serve with a cup of hot cocoa or alongside vanilla ice cream.
