  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 2 tbsp Hot sauce
  • 4 Biscuits (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the biscuit recipe or package instructions.
  2. Combine buttermilk, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Mix flour, breadcrumbs, baking powder, salt, and pepper in another bowl for coating.
  4. Dip each marinated chicken piece into the flour mixture, ensuring even coating.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Combine honey and hot sauce in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until heated through.
  7. Cut the biscuits in half and place a piece of fried chicken in between.
  8. Drizzle generously with the hot honey sauce and serve warm.
