A nostalgic dessert featuring a buttery graham cracker crust and a sweet-tart key lime filling, topped with whipped cream.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • Whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a medium bowl.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a pie pan.
  4. Whisk the egg yolks in another bowl until light and fluffy.
  5. Add sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest into the yolks, mixing until smooth.
  6. Pour the lime mixture into the prepared crust.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven.
  8. Cool the pie to room temperature and chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  9. Top each slice with a generous dollop of whipped cream before serving.

Notes

Ensure key lime juice is fresh for the best flavor. You can also use a mix of regular lime juice if key limes are hard to find.
