1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
Mix together the flour and powdered sugar. Cut in the softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and salt.
Pour the lemon mixture over the hot crust.
Return to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes, until the filling is set.
Cool and dust the top with powdered sugar, cut into squares, and serve.
