A vibrant and refreshing salsa made with ripe mangoes and creamy avocados, perfect for dipping or as a topping for grilled meats.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather your fresh produce.
  2. Dice the mangoes into bite-sized chunks.
  3. Dice the avocado, removing the pit first.
  4. Chop the red onion finely.
  5. Mince the jalapeño, seeding it if you prefer less heat.
  6. Chop the fresh cilantro.
  7. Combine the diced mangoes, avocado, red onion, jalapeño, and chopped cilantro in a bowl.
  8. Juice the lime over the mixture.
  9. Season with salt to taste and gently toss the salsa.
  10. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled meats.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for up to 2 days. To prevent browning of avocado, keep it with lime juice.
