A vibrant and refreshing salsa combining sweet mangoes and creamy avocado, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, minced (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Dice the mangoes into small cubes.
  2. Dice the avocado to match the size of your mango chunks.
  3. Add the finely chopped red onion to the bowl.
  4. Mince the jalapeño if you prefer a bit of spice.
  5. Stir in the chopped cilantro and squeeze the lime juice over the mix.
  6. Combine all ingredients gently and season with salt to taste.
  7. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled dishes.

Notes

Best served fresh. If storing leftovers, press plastic wrap directly on the surface to minimize browning of avocado.
