Delicious sliders combining juicy shredded chicken, crispy bacon, and sweet maple syrup, all nestled in soft buns.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove and chop into pieces.
  3. Combine the shredded chicken, chopped bacon, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Prepare the slider buns by slicing them in half horizontally and placing the bottoms in a baking dish.
  5. Assemble the sliders by dividing the chicken mixture over the bottoms and topping with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Top with the bun halves, then brush with melted butter.
  7. Bake covered with foil for 10 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 2-3 minutes to crisp the tops.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

These sliders are customizable; feel free to add veggies or swap out cheese.
