A creamy and flavorful dish that transforms ordinary dinners into special occasions, featuring tender chicken enveloped in a rich sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper to ensure they are full of flavor.
  2. In a large skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts until they are golden brown on both sides (about 5-7 minutes per side). Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about a minute until fragrant, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
  4. Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Stir until everything is well combined, creating a rich and flavorful sauce.
  5. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet. Let them simmer in the sauce for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
  6. Once cooked, garnish the dish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version. Fresh herbs like thyme or oregano can enhance the dish further.
