Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (16 oz) container whipped topping
  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a pie pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool completely.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. Then, gently fold in half of the whipped topping.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust evenly.
  4. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the cream cheese layer, creating ribbons.
  5. Top the pie with the remaining whipped topping and sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
  6. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours before serving to let the flavors meld together.
