A melt-in-your-mouth Mississippi Pot Roast that’s simple to prepare and filled with rich flavors, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 34 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 56 whole pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. Place the beef chuck roast in a large baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the roast.
  4. Place the pepperoncini peppers on top of the roast.
  5. Cut the butter into pieces and lay them over the seasonings.
  6. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake for 3-4 hours or until the meat is tender.
  8. Serve it with creamy mashed potatoes or over rice.

Notes

Choose a chuck roast for the best results and feel free to add garlic or onion for added flavor.
