A comforting and flavorful Mississippi Pot Roast that is tender and packed with rich flavors, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 34 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 68 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. Place the chuck roast in a large baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the roast.
  4. Add the pepperoncini peppers on top of the roast and pour the juice from the jar over it.
  5. Top with butter on top of the roast.
  6. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 4-5 hours.
  7. Shred the meat with forks and serve with the delicious juices.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
