A quick and delicious Mongolian Beef recipe that combines sweet and savory flavors with tender flank steak and aromatic spices.

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce mixture: In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch until fully combined.
  2. Sauté the beef: In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced flank steak and sauté until browned and tender.
  3. Aromatize with garlic, ginger, and green onions: Add minced garlic, ginger, and sliced green onions to the skillet and cook until fragrant.
