  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in a bowl with soy sauce and cornstarch until evenly coated.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Toss in the sliced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the chopped green onions, brown sugar, water, and minced ginger; simmer until thickened.
