A quick and flavorful dish combining tender ground beef with silky egg noodles and a rich sauce, reminiscent of Mongolian street food.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Boil the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Brown the ground beef until cooked through.
  4. Sauté garlic and ginger for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar; mix well.
  6. Toss in the cooked noodles and stir until everything is well combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add chili flakes or sriracha. This dish pairs well with a cucumber salad or steamed bok choy.
