A healthier twist on classic cookies, these No Sugar Applesauce Cookies are gluten-free and dairy-free, perfect for guilt-free snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour blend
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the unsweetened applesauce, melted coconut oil, egg, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour blend, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  4. Blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gradually until smooth.
  5. Stir in the dairy-free chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop rounded tablespoonfuls of batter onto the lined cookie sheet, leaving space between each scoop.
  7. Flatten the tops of the cookies with your finger or the back of a spoon.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
