  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, sugar, corn syrup, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until blended.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the self-rising flour, milk, brown sugar, and salt.
  4. Gradually pour the flour mixture into the pecan mixture, folding gently until smooth.
  5. Grease a baking dish and pour the combined mixture into it, spreading evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
