A delicious pasta dish that combines all the flavors of a cheeseburger into a creamy, cheesy meal, all cooked in one pot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup pasta (elbow macaroni or rotini)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until it’s crumbled and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, followed by the pasta, diced tomatoes (with juices), ketchup, and mustard. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat to a low simmer, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes until the pasta is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
  5. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Spoon portions into bowls and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

Pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
