A comforting and creamy garlic pasta made in just one pot, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Combine the pasta and milk in the pot, ensuring the pasta is submerged.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes until the pasta is al dente.
  5. Melt in the grated Parmesan cheese until it creates a creamy texture.
  6. Season your dish with salt and pepper to taste, stirring well.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, reduce the milk by half initially and add more as needed while cooking. This dish pairs well with a side salad and garlic bread.
