  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Maple syrup (for serving)
  • Powdered sugar (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cube the bread and place it in a greased baking dish.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring all pieces are well soaked.
  4. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
