Delicious and crispy Parmesan baked pork chops that are tender and full of flavor, perfect for any dinner occasion.

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup plain breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
  3. Mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  4. Stir together the olive oil and melted butter in another bowl.
  5. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  6. Dip each pork chop into the butter mixture, then press into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Bake the coated pork chops in the prepared baking dish for 20–25 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  8. Broil for an additional 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness.
  9. Rest the pork chops for 5 minutes before serving and garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use crushed gluten-free crackers or almond flour. Ensure pork is at room temperature before baking for even cooking.
