Juicy pork chops baked to perfection with a crispy Parmesan crust, inspired by family traditions.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup plain breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease or line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, stir together the olive oil and melted butter.
  5. Using paper towels, pat the pork chops dry.
  6. Dip each pork chop into the butter mixture, then press into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Place the coated pork chops in the prepared baking dish.
  8. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  9. Once baked, remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve.

Notes

Pairs well with creamy mashed potatoes or a fresh salad. Ensure even cooking with pork chops of uniform thickness.
