Delightfully flaky pastries filled with creamy peanut butter and sweet jelly, perfect for snack time or dessert.

  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup jelly or jam (your choice)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sugar (for sprinkling, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut them into 4-inch squares.
  3. Spread a generous tablespoon of peanut butter in the center of each square, followed by a tablespoon of jelly.
  4. Carefully fold the pastry over to create a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
  5. Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with a beaten egg and sprinkle sugar if desired.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
