  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a round cake pan in the oven.
  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the melted butter.
  4. Arrange the sliced peaches over the brown sugar.
  5. Combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  6. Whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  7. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
  8. Pour the batter over the arranged peaches in the pan.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
