  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine peanut butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Create a small indentation in the center of each cookie and fill it with caramel sauce.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  7. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Use smooth peanut butter for a creamier texture and don’t overbake to maintain softness.
