Delightful bites of puff pastry filled with creamy cheese and topped with spicy-sweet red pepper jelly, perfect for gatherings.

  • 1 cup Flour (for dusting)
  • 1 spray Nonstick cooking spray (for muffin tin)
  • 8 oz Cream cheese (rich and creamy texture)
  • 1/2 cup Red pepper jelly (spicy-sweet flavor)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh thyme leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Soften the Puff Pastry: Let the puff pastry sheet sit at room temperature for 15 minutes to soften.
  2. Prepare the Surface: Unfold the pastry gently and place it on a floured surface.
  3. Roll and Cut: Roll it out lightly and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
  4. Prepare the Muffin Tin: Spray a muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
  5. Fit the Dough: Press each piece of puff pastry into the muffin cups.
  6. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  7. Bake the Shells: Bake the shells for 10 to 12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Add Cream Cheese: Spoon cream cheese into each pre-baked shell.
  9. Top with Jelly: Spoon red pepper jelly over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Bake Again: Return to the oven for an additional 6 to 8 minutes.
  11. Cool and Garnish: Let the bites cool and sprinkle thyme on top.

Notes

Leftover bites can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
