A quick and flavorful Italian dish combining pasta, chicken, and vibrant basil pesto, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, and pesto sauce in a large bowl.
  3. Mix well until the pasta is evenly coated with the pesto.
  4. Add grated Parmesan cheese, along with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. If desired, stir in halved cherry tomatoes for an extra pop of color and sweetness.
  6. Serve in bowls and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Enjoy!

Notes

For best results, use rotisserie chicken for flavor and salty pasta water for boiling.
