Delicious Philly Cheesesteak Sliders packed with savory ribeye, sautéed onions, and provolone cheese for a perfect snack or meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 8 slider rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Butter for brushing

Instructions

  1. Heat your skillet: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onion and bell pepper and sauté until softened.
  2. Brown the steak: Add the ribeye steak to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  3. Preheat the oven: While you’re cooking the steak, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Prepare the slider rolls: Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  5. Assemble the sliders: Spoon the steak mixture onto the slider rolls, then add a slice of provolone cheese on top.
  6. Complete the assembly: Place the top halves of the rolls on and brush with melted butter.
  7. Bake to perfection: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
  8. Serve warm: Serve your sliders warm, with plenty of napkins nearby.

Notes

For the perfect thin slices of ribeye, ask your butcher to slice it for you, or freeze the meat for about 30 minutes before slicing. Feel free to add sautéed mushrooms or jalapeños for extra flavor and texture.
