Crispy and crunchy pretzel-coated chicken served with a creamy mustard-cheddar sauce, perfect for family dinners.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups pretzel crumbs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare three bowls: one with seasoned flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with pretzel crumbs mixed with garlic and onion powder.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in the seasoned flour, then in the egg, and finally in the pretzel crumbs.
  4. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spritz with cooking spray.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Mix the mustard and cheddar cheese in a bowl to create the creamy dipping sauce.
  7. Serve the baked chicken hot with the creamy sauce.

Notes

Marinate chicken in yogurt and spices for added flavor and tenderness. Use crushed crackers or panko as substitutes for pretzel crumbs.
