A classic Quiche Lorraine featuring creamy custard with bacon and Swiss cheese, perfect for brunch or any meal.

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
  4. Stir in the shredded Swiss cheese and crumbled bacon, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  5. Carefully pour the egg mixture into the prepared pie crust, taking care to fill it evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
