A classic Quiche Lorraine filled with eggs, heavy cream, Gruyère cheese, and smoky bacon, perfect for brunch or any meal.

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 ounces bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C), getting it ready for the deliciousness to come.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
  3. Layer the cooked bacon evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.
  4. Sprinkle the grated Gruyère cheese generously over the bacon.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

You can make the quiche a day in advance and store it in the fridge. Reheat before serving.
