Delightful pastries filled with a savory blend of eggs, spinach, turkey ham, potatoes, and gooey cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of pre-made dough (puff pastry or pie crust)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup of cooked turkey ham, diced
  • 1 cup of cooked potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Scramble the eggs, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Add in the chopped spinach, diced turkey ham, diced potatoes, and shredded cheese.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and cut into smaller rectangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the filling on one half of each rectangle.
  6. Seal the edges by folding the dough over the filling.
  7. Add the egg wash over the tops of the tarts.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These pop tarts can be customized with different fillings and are perfect for busy mornings. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for a month.
