  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the softened butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in the crumbled sausage, shredded cheese, and chopped green onions.
  6. Knead the dough gently on a floured surface.
  7. Roll the dough out into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  8. Cut the rolled-out dough into squares or triangles.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm.
