A delightful and quick Sesame Ginger Chicken recipe, infused with the rich flavors of sesame oil and ginger.

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, minced ginger, minced garlic, honey, and sesame oil. Stir well until all ingredients are fully combined.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add the sliced chicken to the bowl with the marinade. Cover and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat the Skillet: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Add the marinated chicken to the hot skillet, cooking without stirring for about 4 minutes, then stir and cook for another 3 minutes until fully cooked through.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, serve hot with chopped scallions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute soy sauce with tamari. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
