A delightful and simple shrimp scampi that’s bursting with flavors of garlic, lemon, and butter, served over your choice of pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
  • Cooked pasta (like linguine or spaghetti)

Instructions

  1. Heat the pan: In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the aromatics: Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook the shrimp: Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in the sauce ingredients: Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Simmer and reduce: Cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
  6. Toss in the pasta: Toss in the cooked pasta until well coated.
  7. Garnish and serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
