Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups shredded white cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in a large skillet according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the steak pieces in the same skillet until browned (4-5 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. Add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
  4. Stir in the smoked paprika, then pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Reduce heat to low, gradually stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Toss the cooked fettuccine and steak back into the skillet until coated. Heat through (2-3 minutes).
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

To prevent clumping, ensure the cream is warm before adding the cheese. Consider substituting sirloin with pre-cooked chicken or shrimp for a quicker meal.
