8 oz penne pasta
2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or leftovers)
1 cup BBQ sauce (smoky variety)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup cream or milk
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the penne pasta according to package directions until al dente; then drain.
Mix the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, cream or milk, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and half of the cheddar cheese in a large bowl until well combined.
Season the mixture with salt and pepper to your liking.
Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, and spread it out evenly.
Top the pasta mixture with the remaining cheddar cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the dish is bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.
Cool slightly before serving.
