Fluffy and tangy sourdough pancakes that bring a unique twist to your breakfast table.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Combine the sourdough starter, flour, milk, egg, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and stir until well mixed.
  2. Add the melted butter and mix gently to incorporate.
  3. Preheat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat until hot.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake, leaving enough space between them.
  5. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Serve warm with your choice of syrup and toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
