A delightful twist on traditional pasta dishes, combining spaghetti, marinara, and cheese into a comforting pie.

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and let cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, marinara sauce, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  4. Grease a pie dish or baking pan with oil or non-stick spray.
  5. Press the spaghetti mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the pie dish to form a crust.
  6. Layer the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the spaghetti crust.
  7. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the mozzarella.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil if desired, then slice and serve warm.

Ensure your spaghetti is slightly undercooked for the perfect texture after baking. Feel free to mix in your favorite veggies or add crushed red pepper flakes for added flavor.
