Deliciously crunchy and healthy Spicy Roasted Chickpeas, packed with protein and perfect for snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the drained and rinsed chickpeas dry using a paper towel.
  3. Combine the chickpeas with olive oil, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast the chickpeas for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Let the roasted chickpeas cool completely on the baking sheet before serving.

Notes

Store any leftover chickpeas in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. To revive crispiness, re-roast for a few minutes.
