Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, avocado, red onion, mayonnaise, or any favorite condiments

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape each part into a patty roughly 1/2-inch thick.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly in the oven or on a griddle while the patties are cooking.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun and adding preferred toppings such as lettuce, tomato slices, avocado, and red onion.
