A classic power breakfast that combines juicy steak with perfectly cooked eggs, creating a hearty meal for any time of the day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter or oil for cooking
  • Optional: herbs (like rosemary or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of butter or oil.
  3. Cook the steak in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on one side for medium doneness, then flip and repeat.
  4. Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes.
  5. Crack the eggs into the same skillet and cook until the whites are set and the yolks reach your desired doneness.
  6. Plate the steak alongside the eggs or atop them, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Ensure your skillet is hot enough before adding the steak for a nice sear. Using a meat thermometer can help achieve the perfect doneness.
