A delightful and aromatic dish combining chicken, noodles, and a sticky garlic sauce that celebrates togetherness over dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 200g noodles (preferably egg noodles)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Once they’re al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the chicken in a large pan with vegetable oil, seasoning with salt and pepper until golden brown.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Mix together soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken, stirring to coat and simmering until slightly thickened.
  6. Add the cooked noodles, tossing to combine until heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving hot.

Notes

Adjust sweetness of the sauce with additional honey if desired. Substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp for variations.
