1 lb flank steak
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 cup jasmine rice
Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
Rinse the Jasmine Rice. Rinse jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Cook the Rice. Combine the rinsed jasmine rice with 2 cups of water in a saucepan; bring it to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Season the Flank Steak. Season the flank steak generously with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Sear the Steak. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the seasoned steak for 4-5 minutes on each side, then remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
