Delightful cookies combining the flavors of cheesecake and fresh strawberries, perfect for summer or any time craving.

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • Powdered sugar for glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time and add the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool and optionally drizzle with powdered sugar glaze before serving.
