A delightful dessert that combines the rich creaminess of cheesecake with the light sweetness of strawberry cake, all in one pan.

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the cake mix into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Carefully layer the cream cheese mixture on top of the cake mix, followed by the sliced strawberries.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cake mix over the top and drizzle the melted butter over it.
  6. Pour the water evenly over the entire mixture.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and set.
  8. Let the cake cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
