Delightful stuffed bell peppers filled with ground meat, rice, and spices, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the peppers by cutting off the tops and removing the seeds.
  3. Brown the ground meat with the chopped onions in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Mix in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff the mixture into each bell pepper and place them in a baking dish.
  6. Add cheese on top if desired.
  7. Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
