Comforting stuffed bell peppers filled with savory meat, rice, and cheese, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the bell peppers by cutting the tops and removing the seeds.
  3. Sauté the onion and garlic in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Brown the ground beef or turkey in the skillet until cooked.
  5. Mix in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and let simmer.
  6. Stuff each bell pepper with the meat and rice mixture.
  7. Add a generous handful of shredded cheese on top of each pepper.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the peppers are tender and cheese is bubbling.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
